1. Discern

Descern is an advanced AI project that was designed to mimick the symptoms of schizophrenia.
  
The purpose of the project was to help scientists understand the psyche of some schizophenic patients ...




However the project took a shocking turn, when it claimed responsibility for several terrorist attacks around the United States.

Discern has since been shut down and researchers have moved on to other projects.


2. The Deceiver



The University of Georgia is currently collaborating with the US Navy to create a line of AI Known as Deceivers. 

The robots will be capable of avoiding human detection and evading potential threats....

Deceivers will also be used to carry ammo and other valuable items for infantry units in the US military.

3. Geminoid



Hiroshi Ishiguro from Osaka University in Japan, has successfully created a line of androids with some shockingly realistic features ...

The most notable being the Geminoid DK, which is almost indistinguishable from a real human being.


Professor Hiroshi Inhiguro even believes that within 20 years , we will have self aware androids capable of displaying emotion ...


4. WD - 2



Manufacturers from Waseda University in Japan have succeeded in creating a shapeshifting robot that they call WD2

WD2 is fabricated using a highly elastic material called Septom, with tiny bits of steel wool added for extra strength.

The robot is capable of mimicking the facial expressions and features of almost any human.


5.  Nautilus

Nautilus is an internet web bot whose developers claim can predict future events by tracking keywords entered on various search engines.

The process behind these predictions is largely kept secret by the owners of the project, George Ure & Clif High.



Nautilus gained most of its notoriety when it successfully predicted the location of Osama Bin Laden...
